As a mother, I am always worried the minute my son tells me he is going out. He doesn't go out that often. He works nights and I'm glad. There's only 2 nights a week that he is free to socialize. He probably goes out twice a month. The first thing I do in the morning after he has been out is to look in his room, praying he is there. He is. But I need to see for myself. I wish and pray that he would decide that he would never drink alcohol again. Who really needs it, anyway. He is 25 years old and paralyzed from the waist down. Sometimes he gets real bad pain in his legs and a few beers helps to relieve the pain. So I guess he will always drink. When he told me that he had gotten a ride home from someone in your organization, I was thrilled. He knows how much I worry. I had never heard of "Designated Driver". What a wonderful idea Mr. Hilley came up with. Just think how many lives you have saved. May I ask something. If my son is ever in a predicament where he has no money left to donate, he may hesitate to call you. If he knew that you would send us a "bill" or some kind of notice, I would gladly send a donation. Heck! I'd like to pre-donate just in case he finds himself in that predicament. I just don't want him to not call because he'd be embarassed to have no money. How many people do you have working with you? Where do you get volunteers? Again, thank you very much. I hope and pray that my son will continue to call on you when he finds himself unable to drive.

I had a drunk driving accident a week ago on 6/25 and I ran my car into a ditch. I was not wearing my seatbelt and the right side of my face went through the windshield. I also broke my collar bone and sprained my ankle. I will never again drive under the influence and know that it is no joke. I am lucky I did not lose my life or take someone else's. Drinking and driving is not a game. It cost me a lot of pain, medical bills and my car was lost in the accident. Be FAIR to everyone else and don't drink and drive. TRUST ME

wow this is such a great thing I'd like to know how far henry has actually driven to help a stranger? And is he self funded ?? He might actually be able to be funded through the goverment research dept of transportation in your state or in washington DC I would love to this here in Arizona where I live..... tell me how!!
